Angelynn Hermes, LCSW

Fee

The full fee for 45-minute individual therapy sessions is $180.

I reserve space for sliding scale therapy for those for whom my fee may be unaffordable. I prioritize sliding scale sessions for LGBTQ+ individuals, sex workers, and care providers. Please contact me to inquire further.

I am out-of-network for health insurance providers, and can provide a Superbill for those wishing to seek insurance reimbursement.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. See below for more information

Availability

As of January 2022, my sliding scale spots are full and my availability for new full-fee clients is limited. I welcome you to reach out to inquire if I have any present openings that may work for your needs and schedule.

Location

All of my services are provided on-line only via video-based telehealth platforms and services. I am also available by phone when technological disruptions or limitations in access make video-based therapy inaccessible.

What is a Good Faith Estimate and what does it mean for therapy

Under Federal law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask me, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. There may be additional items or services that you and I choose to schedule separately and are not reflected in the good faith estimate. The information provided in the good faith estimate is only an estimate and that actual items, services, or charges may differ from the good faith estimate. The good faith estimate does not require you to obtain psychotherapy or other services from me or any other provider.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
